If you fly into Portland International, as the plane turns to land, Portland Head Light is visible out of the left side; my house is visible out of the right; look for my neighbor's red roof to the right. That's me, close to the shore and surrounded by roses! If you come by bus, train or plane, take a taxi to the Casco Bay Lines Ferry Terminal. It is located on Commercial Street in Portland's historic Old Port District. Driving directions to Casco Bay Lines: From Points South: Take the Maine Turnpike (I-95) to Exit 44 (formerly Exit 6A). Take I-295 to Exit 7, Franklin Street to end, and go straight across intersection. From Points North: Maine Turnpike (I-95) South to Exit 103 (formerly Exit 14B) I-295 South to Exit 7 Franklin St. to end, and go straight across intersection. |  | |
